Lacie Big disk

I have problems using four Lacie Big Disk [1] with firewire2 and usb2.
These disks seems to woork smoothly under MacOSX. I got a lot of errors
with USB2 and I decided to try firewire with a lacie pci PCI adaptator.
It work during days but last I have the same problems. The log shows
several lines like these:

An fsck returns a lot of:

(Attemp to read block from filesystem resulted in short read) while
doing inode scan.

And some Inode xxxx, i_blocks is XX, should be xx

Can these hard drives work well under linux? Is these an SCSI emulation

Several people reported problems with the BigDisk under Linux as
well as under Windows. The cause is probably the RAID firmware of
the Big Disk. A firmware update may perhaps help.

Several people reported problems with the BigDisk under Linux as
well as under Windows. The cause is probably the RAID firmware of
the Big Disk. A firmware update may perhaps help.

I already have the latest firmware from lacie. I've tried to load sbp2
with "sbp2_serialize_io=1" without luck, too. I don't know what to do
:(. Any ideas?
